Access Control Planning
Doors, badges, and entry rules planned around how people move through your sites.
Access control planning is a people-and-doors exercise: which doors need to be controlled, who should pass through them at what times, and what happens the day somebody leaves. The hardware follows from that map, and the thing that decides whether it keeps working is who maintains the credential list afterwards.
When this fits
- Keys and codes have sprawled beyond anyone's control
- A new site needs access designed from day one
Typical planning considerations
- Which doors are controlled, which stay mechanical, and how each should behave when power is lost
- Existing door hardware and frames, and whether power reaches them
- Credential type (card, fob, phone, or code), and what staff will realistically carry
- Schedules: normal hours, after-hours access, deliveries, and contractors
- The offboarding process, and how quickly access is removed today
- Fire and life-safety requirements, which are set by code and your local authority and must be confirmed with the installer
What Days Dynamics can help coordinate
- Mapping doors, schedules, and access groups before hardware is chosen
- Preparing requests for controllers, readers, and credentials that match that map
- Coordinating door hardware, electrical, and installation work with the installer
- Planning credential administration and the offboarding steps around it

New Location Rollout
The pieces that have to land together for a site to open working: network first, then everything on it.
