How do we know whether to refresh or repair?

Repair when the fault is isolated and the equipment is still supported. Refresh when hardware is out of support, when the design no longer matches your headcount or workload, or when you keep paying for fixes on equipment that will need replacing anyway.

Can we spread a refresh across more than one budget year?

Should we buy the same brand we already have?
